Small game preparation requires a fine point and thin edge to make those precise thin skin cuts. The Bird and Trout handles this beautifully. My bird and trout is tapered at both ends, which creates balance in the handle and a fine point at the tip. This creates a perfect combination for preparing your small game.   You have to have this knife if you are into Fowl & Fins! I currently have two versions the most common is the Drop Point and the second is the Norfolk which features a straight spine and a very fine point.
